Terms & Conditions

Cartrix is a technology platform that helps merchants turn videos, photos and social content into an online catalogue and storefront, and helps shoppers discover and order products from those stores. Cartrix provides the tools and infrastructure; it is not the seller of merchant products and is not a party to the sale contract between a merchant and a shopper.

• You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. If you use Cartrix for a business, you represent that you are authorised to act for it.
• You are responsible for your account, for keeping your sign-in secure, and for activity under it. Tell us promptly of any unauthorised use.
• You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

• You own or have all rights to the content you upload or connect (including reels, photos, brand names and any Instagram content), and its use on Cartrix does not infringe anyone’s rights.
• You sell only lawful products you are permitted to sell, and your listings, prices, availability and policies (delivery, returns, refunds) are accurate and comply with applicable laws.
• You are responsible for fulfilling orders, honouring your stated policies, handling customer service, taxes and any required disclosures.
• You comply with the terms and policies of integrated services you enable (including Meta/Instagram, WhatsApp and payment providers).

Cartrix uses AI to generate product images, videos and catalogue text from your inputs. These outputs are AI-generated representations and may not perfectly match the physical product. You are responsible for reviewing and approving them before publishing, for ensuring they are not misleading, and for the accuracy of what you sell. We grant you the right to use the outputs generated for your store; you remain responsible for how you use them.

Integrations such as Instagram, WhatsApp and payments are optional and merchant-initiated. By connecting Instagram, you authorise Cartrix to fetch and display your reels on your storefront using read-only access, and you confirm you have the rights to do so. Your use of each integration is also subject to that provider’s terms. You can disconnect any integration at any time in Settings.

• A purchase is a contract between the shopper and the merchant. Cartrix facilitates the transaction but is not the seller.
• Payments may be processed through our payment partner and/or direct UPI. By enabling online payments, merchants agree to the payment provider’s terms and KYC requirements; payouts are settled to the merchant per those terms.
• Returns, refunds, cancellations and disputes are handled by the merchant under its stated policies and applicable law. Shoppers should contact the merchant for order issues.
• Cartrix may charge platform fees, usage-based credits or commissions as described in your plan; we may change pricing on notice.

You agree not to:

• Upload or sell illegal, counterfeit, infringing, unsafe or prohibited items, or content that is unlawful, deceptive, or violates others’ rights.
• Misuse the platform — including scraping, overloading, probing, reverse-engineering, or circumventing security or usage limits.
• Impersonate others, or use Cartrix to send spam or unlawful communications.
• Interfere with the platform’s operation or other users’ use of it.

You retain ownership of your content and brand. You grant Cartrix a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, process, reproduce and display your content as needed to operate the service and your store (including generating AI outputs and showing your reels). Cartrix and its licensors own the platform, software and all related intellectual property; nothing here transfers those rights to you.

We may review, remove or restrict content, and suspend or terminate accounts, that we reasonably believe violate these Terms, the law, or the policies of an integrated provider, or that pose a risk to users or the platform. Where practical we will give notice.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that AI-generated outputs will be accurate or fit for a particular purpose, or that third-party services will always be available.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cartrix and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amounts you paid to us for the service in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold Cartrix harmless from claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your products, your use of the service, or your breach of these Terms or of applicable law or third-party rights.

You may stop using Cartrix and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or where required to protect users, the platform or comply with law. On termination, the rights granted to you end; provisions that by their nature should survive (such as ownership, disclaimers, liability limits and indemnities) will survive.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts having jurisdiction in India will hear any disputes, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will change the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
